Flare: Data-Centric Layer 1 Blockchain Leading DeFi Innovation
Flare is a data-specialized Layer 1 blockchain pioneering blockchain utility expansion through its decentralized data oracle solution. Based on EVM compatibility, Flare provides cross-chain data interoperability and real-time data feeds through two core protocols: the FTSO (Flare Time Series Oracle) and Data Connector. The FTSO, an enshrined oracle system, selects data providers every 1.8 seconds using a stake-weighted randomness algorithm, with approximately 100 independent providers supporting each data feed. Flare token holders can delegate their tokens to data providers without lockup and receive a share of rewards every 3.5 days.
